2. Device Permissions and Engineering Tools

FastDWG may request device permissions only when needed to provide specific app features. The permissions available to you may depend on your device, operating system, and app version.

• Files and storage: Used to open CAD drawings, manage recent files, save converted files, and share exports.
• Microphone: Used when you actively use the decibel tool or any audio-based measurement feature. We do not record, store, or monitor audio in the background.
• Motion, orientation, or sensor data: Used for tools such as the level tool and other field reference functions.
• Location, altitude, or environmental data: Used only if you enable features that require site reference information, such as altitude-related tools.

You can manage app permissions in your device settings. If you deny a permission, the related feature may be unavailable, but other parts of FastDWG may continue to work.

4. AI Assistant Features

Do not submit confidential, sensitive, regulated, or proprietary project information to AI features unless you have the right to do so and accept the associated processing. AI responses may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be treated as professional engineering, architectural, legal, safety, or compliance advice.
